The Wiesbaden museum has a fabulous collection, and the visiting collections are always interesting and worth the trip. The offer free entrance on the first Saturday of the month, so if it's raining (as it so often is), this is the place to be.

I really enjoyed my visit to Museum Wiesbaden. The exhibitions were very interesting, and I spent hours wandering around looking at all of the beautiful art work on display. A warning for fellow haters of spiders - be careful wandering around the Natural History part of the museum - you will freak out.

As others have stated, the science-natural history side of this "two-for-one" museum is much better than the art side. The Museum Wiesbaden takes its limited resources and collection and makes the best of it. The art is a mix of old masters, modern, and contemporary, with nothing truly outstanding. But pleasant. The science takes a few simple concepts -- movement,... More

Very disappointed! The museum itself was good but the security staff decided to follow us round the whole time, were extremely unfriendly and rude. We almost left after the first room but decided we wouldn't be intimidated by the staff and carried on. We were very pleased to leave the museum and would advise people not to go due to... More

I went with some friends one evening and it was very quiet and interesting. There are a lot of things to see so you can spend quite some time there. Good value for money.

The museum has a wonderful art collection as well as a natural history section and an environmental/ecology section. The building is a museum in itself. The security staff were friendly and helpful. One woman took time to tell my grand daughter all about polar bears. She was delighted. The cafe serves fantastic soups and sandwiches. I loved the fact that... More

Visit this museum to see the 4 incredible rooms of Natural History exhibits. They are fantastic. Not just natural wonders of Germany but of our world. I've been to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC and it doesn't hold a candle to this. Also in the building are some Grand Masters of German art, but visit the Natural History exhibit first.... More
