Although this church is small, it packs in a lot of detail. The outside is simple and the gold domes make the church feel majestic. When you go inside, the details will overwhelm you, especially the artwork. There are several statues and Russian texts displaying...More

It's not too often having such a nice historical place in town - its small but beautiful - a must see in Darmstadt for sure

The inside of the church is just as impressive as the outside, so pay the small fee to go inside. Just don't expect anything to be in English🙂 No photos are allowed inside the church.

Wether you make your way to this beauty by walking, or by driving with your car or taking a ride on the "Nerobergbahn", it's worth it. But: You haven't to enter the small church, there isn't much to see inside. Save the Euros and get...More

This is a nice get away and I was really surprised how nice this place is. To bad the doors were closed after 5pm. I do want to come back though

Found it strange that the church is rarely open for visitors and, when it is, it charges a fee... From the outside it looks OK, couldn't go in because it was closed. Another point from which you can get a lovely view over Wiesbaden.

Perched high above Wiesbaden this ornate church site gives wonderful views. Even though the church looked quiet spectacular I did not feel that sense of calm that I feel in many churches. It was interesting and well worth visiting but it felt more like a...More

This Russian - orthodox church is interesting to visit. It was open even in this winter month with just a small entrance fee of a couple of Euros. A church service in the upper rotunda was heard from the ground chamber below. The history of...More

Love this place! It's beautiful to look at, and if you turn around you can see the city view of Wiesbaden. There are trails around here that go to the local pool and the funicular if you are willing to walk (with some hills).
