A must! The museum is conveniently located, close to the cathedral and to its Rose of Hildesheim. The permanent exhibition is rich and carefully showcased. The staff professional and helpful.

Loved the building , modern and spacious but with a link to an old church where some of there collections of archaeology were. A good Egyptian, and an excellent south american pottery collection, both well presented.Also good restaurant attached.
