This is an historic church in Rostock, it is kind of plain from the outside and the main church inside is kind of plain as well but the trip up the tower more than makes up for it. It is very tall but there is...More

Externally you think this is a disused church but on closer inspection you discover an interesting interior and history. The key feature is the tower which provides views of the town, the charge was €3. There is a lift which makes the climb easier, a...More

St Petri's Church is about a 15 minute walk from the main square in the centre of Rostock. There doesn't seem to be any public transport nearer than the square. The church itself is nothing special but the views from the top of the tower...More

This very plain church houses a viewing platform at 44 meters. It's accessed via a lift with a nominal €3 charge. The views from the top are superb and its the only place from which you have uninterrupted views.

The church itself is nothing special, and seen in 10 minutes. But there is a room with pictures, where you can see how it was rebuild after being burned down, quite interesting. Also you can take a lift to the tower with a nice view.

I'm not sure if this church is free or not, but at least entry to the spire is charged, but it's a modest fee to use a lift to get a stunning view of the city. There is wire netting, but you can either focus...More

We walked to the church and found it was free to enter. There isn't much to see except a few model ships hanging from the ceiling. You can pay to take the lift up the steeple (you have to pay even if you use the...More
