This is a perfect place to use as a meeting place as it is on the edge of the main square. It’s quite quaint and one of the few must sees in Wismar.

Take photo and keep walking. Interesting site, but it's mainly the center piece for the gypsy market surrounding it today . Lot of knock off goods for sale from the caravan set up around Waterworks .

We got dropped off at the town square on a Viking Ocean cruise included city tour of Wismar. Like I said it is a very quaint town square. Don't expect to see a lot of commerce right there. Just a couple restaurants. A quieter pace...More

The old well with its small statues are a nice place on the old square. There is a sign telling the history of the buildning and after reading that you might linger another 5 min but that's all. But the building in itself is good...More
