Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit the museum's collection, but its shape and facade were intriguing.

This really well-curated museum deserves a visit. An incredible collection of Picassos, but that might be the least interesting part, actually, because the entire permanent collection is a revelation. It really takes you on a journey through the history of modern art, showing the links...More

Had really high hopes for the Ludwig Museum but left feeling incredibly overwhelmed and overcharged. The art is sporadic with little information available. This is one I wish I had missed and saved the money.

This museum presents one of the most remarkable collections of Pop Art, which is one of my favourites. But in general all the 20th century painting is well represented. If you like 20th century painting, this is a must.

This is without doubt one of the best world’s modern art museums with works of art by Picasso, Dali, Miro, Chagall, Warhol and many other of the master artists of modern art. Definitively a must when visiting Cologne!

A must see while in Cologne for the art work itself, but also as an escape from he crowds around the cathedral and old town! Some nice pieces by Picasso, Dali et al, but the Pop Art collection is amazing.

If you like post 1900 modern art and sixties pop art, this museum is it. It has one of the largest Picasso collections in Europe. Ditto Warhol. Named after a chocolate millionaire, not a musician. Gift store.
