Jens was very friendly helpful informative and considerate. As it was a cold day he lent me gloves and suggested a convient stop for a hot drink to warm up. One of the best segway tours i have done. We were shown a map of preposed route, segway had a bell to warm pedestrians of approach, something which most tours do not offer. We saw all major sights with a good explanation. Highly recommend.

We really liked the Segway Tour. Max was a great guide, he explained everything well to us and so we got into driving quickly. It was easy going and was a lot of fun. Too bad the Seg Tour is stopped.

First of all we want to thank Segway tour company for allowing us to have tour despite being the only two people. I think most tour companies would have cancelled our tour or made us reschedule. This was especially important to us since we only had 6 hours to visit Cologne. Our Guide Johannes was especially great. He took photos of us throughout the tour so we didn’t have to. This was very nice. It allowed us to just enjoy the tour and we were able to get great photos of us enjoying the tour rather than stressing about getting photos.
The only thing I would change is there was no headset and it would have been nice if we had a headset. This way the guide can talk to us while we are riding. I felt that having to stop to talk about landmark was unfortunate. Also if there had been more than just us two I don’t know if we would have all been able to hear in some of the noisier areas.

We visited Cologne for the first time all the way from Southern California. We knew almost nothing about the city before our tour but we felt saw and learned so much about the city by the end of our tour. He asked for our preferences and customized the tour to us. We only had a few hours in Cologne and felt this is was really the only way we could see so much in so little time. We also very much appreciated the fact that we could take a tour spoken in English.
We would recommend to anyone!

If you only have a small amount of time in Cologne DO IT ! Fantastic tour, great mix of knowledge and fun. Ask for Johannes as your guide you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I did the Segway tour with Johannes on a bitterly cold morning on 30 November.
We chose the extended tour which took us all around old Cologne and though it was very cold especially on the river front Johannes kept us entertained with his passion for Cologne and the breadth of knowledge he displayed on a wide range of topics including art, history and philosophy. I found it even more refreshing when he was happy to tell me if he didn't know the answers to some of the more awkward questions I asked.
Cologne is an old city with an interesting history and Johannes seemed to make the city feel even more alive with his detailed knowledge of the city including the various sections occupied by different ethnic groups. Our tour took us around old Cologne and specifically the outline of the original wall that stood. To top it all off he was kind enough to check with us regularly whether he was talking too much or if we wanted to stop for a coffee.
Overall I would highly recommend the extended Segway tour as I have come away with a keen interest in Cologne and will return in the summer to explore more of this interesting place.

We have been on a number of Segway city tours around Europe and the tour with Johannes has been the best tour we have been on.
Johannes was very friendly and very well prepared - it was an actual tour as opposed to just a Segway ride. We learnt about history and art and got a real feel for Cologne. We saw parts of the city that we never would have done if we went around by ourselves.
Great fun and many nice photos to remember the trip.

The aim of tours is to show customers a lot of the city's cultural hotspots in a short time span to get a gist of the city and its people. Points of special interest can afterwards be visited again to explore closer.

This was, hands down, the most fun I’ve had in Cologne. Our Segway tour with Johannes was brilliant. The segways were so much fun to use and great value for money. Johannes was the perfect guide. He was able to expertly guide us around the city. His information was relevant and interesting and he made us all feel really at ease. He is a brilliant communicator and really knows his stuff about Cologne!
We had such an excellent time and would recommend this as the top thing to do in Cologne - a truly great way to explore a beautiful place!

My cousin and I were in Cologne for a trade fair and decided to do this Segway tour on our last day as a quick way to see the sights in Cologne. It was a wonderful experience. We had never been on a Segway before and it was actually very easy to ride one. Johannes was our guide and was very friendly and accommodating to us. As it was only the two of us in the tour he asked what was most important to us so he could specialize the tour for us.
It was great. We learnt some historical aspects about the city and also went into different neighborhoods to see the lifestyle of Cologne. We covered a wide distance and saw many sights. It was interesting to note that for many years Cologne was a walled city and to see the remains of those walls was incredible. This is a must do for anyone visiting Cologne. It’s interesting and loads of fun to ride a Segway! Thanks Johannes for a great day and all the photos and videos!

Hello, we can offer you a 3-hour tour with the main sights of Cologne. The cost is 75,- € p.p.
For Sat, 28 April we can only offer you a tour in the afternoon at 4:00 pm. If you have the chance to do a tour on Friday, we have more possibilites (11:30 am, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm) and the city is not that crowded.
