Free animal park easily accessible from the tram network. We got off at wullnerstrasse and walked through a nice park to it (approx 15 minutes gentle stroll)
Donkeys, funny looking chickens, goats and deer were the highlights but there were other animals too. Some of...More
This is a lovely park, just outside of the city, but easily accessible by tram (or on foot if you have an hour to spare one way!)
The animals are friendly, well kept and clearly loved. I do not understand how such a good little...More
We visited here with our three young children, such a lovely little park with deer and goat walking around. Food is available from vending machines dotted around and the children loved seeing the animals up close and personal! I would definitely recommend a visit, we...More
We had a choice of going to the Cologne zoo for the day or doing a few smaller activities including this one - we definitely made the right choice.

This park is somewhat hidden into a bigger park area west of the center of Cologne. Watch for the metal fences where you will see the animals right behind them. It is a kind of a zoo (free entrance) and a kind of wildlife park...More
My fave park in town! As its located at a renown area of Cologne as you can see by people who walk by or spend sometime deliberately or regularly, the park is ( mostly ) quiet and and clean plus not forgetting to mention that...More
This park is fantastic - a kind of wildlife park and petting zoo rolled into one. The tierpark is in the middle(ish) of a normal park and not well signposted, so watch out for the metal gates that help to keep the animals in.
It is a mini zoo not only a park. We had a great time walking around. There is no entrance fee so, definitely go inside and see all those animals moving freely. You can easily reach here by public transport.
