Perfect area of the city to go for drinks, lunch, dinner, walking and share with friends. Plenty of alternatives, the only minus is that many places don't take credit cards, so be prepare to pay "cash"

On our visit to Dusseldorft we walk around the city and of course this is one of the areas you have to walk around, the promenade. Long enough to enjoy it with good weather, take a ferry or have a coffee or seafood meal in...More

The promenade is definitely worth seeing and feeling. The place itself looks amazing, and it basically dares to sit in one of hundreds small pubs and cafés to have a drink and calm down for a while.

Enjoy your walk on this nice promenade. Occasional events such as a bookmarket or ferry wheels will keep you entertained. Take a seat on one of the benches and watch the sunset over the river

A nice area to walk on a sunny day. There are plenty of places to sit down and enjoy a meal or beer. Maybe a bit touristy but really nice to walk along the water front.
