Quite a contrast, this museum houses modern art, this time it was Pierre Soulages. M Soulage used a great deal of black in his paintings. An experience.

Located near the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle rivers and behind the basilica, this museum is housed in a very nice building, on four floors. However, it was not exceedingly appealing to me with the works being displayed. Perhaps I was there at...More

The museum was just ok and not too super exciting. I must preface the previous statement with the fact that we just came from France where the museums are extraordinary. The gardens were more of a highlight than the exhibit in my opinion. It’s not...More

Not quite clear museum. That is, it is good, many of the exhibits cannot fail to arouse a lively interest. This is not surprising as the collection is quite large if can be accommodated on four floors plus outdoors in a place like Deutsche Eck,...More

Just the gardens alone make a visit worthwhile. Sit and relax surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Very peaceful.

It was not much of interest. I got at the beginning overwhelmed as it is located just near to the majestic Eck, but the contemporary paintings inside were not impressive and some were not shown.

An interesting museum just behind the Eck where the Rhein meets the Mosel. Worth a quick whiz around if you have time to spare. Unfortunately the permanent displays were in store and we didn't get to see the Picassos, there were two contemporary exhibitions, one...More

The first two floors were closed for the preparation of an exhibition. Susan Swartz had an exhibition on the other two floors. But I really didn't care too much for her work.
