It is definitely worth visiting the Frauenkirche, as well as the area surrounding it. Beautiful architecture with lovely shops nearby.

Definitely my favourite monument that I saw in Dresden! The height of the building truly surprised me. There is a real view of the majority of the center from the top floor. It was mildly annoying there as the top floor was filled with people and was therefore crowded more than I would like. The church itself was a nice... More

It is a beautiful, amazing church. Sitting there feels like sitting in theatre - decoration and acoustics doesn't really reminds standard churches that you can visit.

History of this building aside, the rebuild is breath-taking and a must see. For about 10 euros you can take a trip to the belfry for what are probably the best views of Dresden Altstadt. It is much higher than it looks from the ground. I was there during a busy period however I had ample opportunity to take heaps... More

A magnificent church and very hard to believe it's virtually all rebuilt stone by stone since WW2. And it looks magnificent. We went in with German family members, finding it hard to believe what had happened all those years ago. It was lovely to learn that Coventry and Dresden had swapped crosses after the war - a wonderful show of... More

I've visited the place so many time but it's still one of the most beautiful sight for me. The interior and exterior is equally nice and if you have time, climbing up to the top is also worthy :)

this church was totally demolished in WW2. Now they have rebuild it, stone by stone, beautifullly. It is a landmark of the old city

Please reminded to check the church opening hours before you go else you have to wait to enter and see the impressive artwork and get the ticket to climb up the dome. Weather was cloudy and rainy which wasn't worth climbing up to the top. Maybe next trip

It is amazing because I remember the ruin with boulders strewn all about. These are childhood memories and I am amazed every time I visit the city and the Frauenkirche, at the beauty of the church and the architectural know-how needed to put this monument back together. Spend some time in the church and listen to its history and the... More
