Very impressive both inside and out - remarkable feat of old stone masonry and other skills on display, modern marvel. Love the mix of old and new that's not covered over or hidden. Particularly grand finishes inside and in stark contrast to St Stefans church...More

My wife and I were here on a Gate1 tour. This was very close to the Zwanger Palace and other sights. We were impressed with the reconstruction effort, since the war had taken a tremendous toll. Magnificent baroque dome

As the church was open when I walked by I decided to go in. Like all churches you get the feeling of peace when you enter. The restoration was stunning and the organ is one of the largest that I have seen. Well worth visiting

A massive structure, surrounded by historical town. Went there early in the morning, escaped the crowds. Zwinger palace is walking distance, so are the other sights in dresden. You can walk by the river, a really long waterfront affording the best views. Beautiful city.

The design of the Frauenkirche is unique but inside there is very little art, outside of the altar (which is very beautiful and makes the visit worthwhile). We attended an organ concert--good organ but not such good acoustics. We've been finding--after numerous organ concerts around...More

It is unbelievable, but more than half a century after the Dresden bombing this signature building is back. It dominates the skyline of Dresden as in the centuries before. If you have the chance to visit the church or to take part in a service,...More
