This was a fascinating trip. You watch a film initially with English subtitles and the guided tour is in Spanish, but you can get the gist of what the tunnels are all about. You are shown several areas where they did operations, etc., with the...More

The tour starts with a short film interviewing people who were children during the civil war. Then our guide led us through the tunnels, explaining at various points about the history. The tour was entirely in a Spanish.

We were hoping to tour this interesting museum but it is closed until mid-February. The Almeria tourism office is very weak and unaware that this museum was closed.

Underground tunnels used as air raid shelters during the war. Well preserved. Film at being or your is in Spanish with English subtitles. The rest of the guided tour is only in Spanish.

Very interesting. A maze of tunnels dug by hand with a hospital room and surgery. Introduced by a documentary with witnesses still living.
