This was great fun and also very informative. We went through the process from picking to retailing. The tasting is very well done also and I was surprised by how detailed the grading of the oil is. Definitely a must do.

We had an olive oil tasting experience with Mari Carmen on the 3rd November, and wow, it was amazing..! We love our food and thought we knew olive oil, but Mari Carmen was so knowledgeable, we learned so much more. It was a brilliant experience and so much fun, we can't recommend it highly enough. Also, beautiful shop, amazing oils and so much more. Thank you Mari Carmen

Warm friendly introduction to the world of olive oil. Felt I understood something of assessing good olive oil. Clearly this place is run by real enthusiasts. Thank you

Loved, loved, LOVED this experience! We have always loved olive oil but we learned so much more about it and left with delicious olive oils to bring home with knowledge about how to buy it in the future.

Very informative and insightful olive oil tasting session, highly recommended. Christina was very nice and able to give us a lot of valuable information how to find the right olive oil. After the session you know it all (or at least most)...

Excellent experience. We really enjoyed the session with Maria. Learned a lot and we’ll worth the 25€ each. Great then driving around Cordoba with a new found understanding of the 1000’s of Olive trees and their production surrounding the area

I use olive oil all the time, but have never sniffed it or 'tasted' it on its own, so this was definitely a whole new experience! We learnt about the growing, harvesting, processing & labelling. Then we tried 5 oils, a little like wine tasting, trying to identify the aromas we could smell (type of fruit, fresh grass etc).
At the end we were left, with the 2 others in our session, to try a selection of other oils from the shop, including the award winnerfrom last season (yes, we could now tell the difference!) We did buy some EVOOs to bring home, but there was no pressure to do so. Bread was provided to cleanse the palette and for tasting.
I can't wait to try my extra virgin olive oil at home to compare!
I'm glad I did it as I learnt a lot, but be prepared to drink some olive oil - it is good for you but was surprisingly peppery at times!

We loved this experience! It was such an authentic way to better understand Andalusia. The facilitator has a passion and a Master’s Degree in Olive Oil. She was so engaging, generous and so informative. We all loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was suprisingly fun and super informative! I'll never view extra virgin olive oil again. Maria was sooooo pleasant to be around. I really enjoyed my time with her learning about the olive oil making process, how to spot a good oil and the difference between the authentic oil and those in the stores. I am now an olive oil snob lol and need to find a way to fund my olive oil buys now.
