The Palace of Viana is a lived house until the end of 20th century by noble families but with a great popular flavor instead. One of its main attractiveness are the "patios" and the garden that make it be known as Museum of the Patios. Indoor and outdoor are perfectly integrated, giving to the palace an original harmony. Among the collections stand out paintings, tapestries, leather and ceramic tiles among others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was about 20 minutes walk from the Mezquita to the Palacio (buses and taxis are available). Each patio opened up another delightful view. They were relaxing and calm to meander through. Lovely

A palace to visit if you want to see beautiful patios. A lot of different ones. The neighborhood less touristic is also worth a shot.

Even in mid March the gardens of the various balconeys were beautiful. The palace is well maintained. The walk was easy without huge crowds.

One of those typical idyllic patios, a nice stop by on the way to mezqita. No guides around, we used internet search to get some information on this museum.

One of the most beautiful places in Córdoba. There 13 gardens and each garden has a different style and is beautiful! Plenty of different flowers and great combination with the fountains. Loved it!

Thank you Meg C for your opinion. Our patios and garden look like different through the different seasons: colours, smell.... We are glad you liked them. Next time you come to Cordoba, you should visit the interior, impressive as well. Thanks and see you soon! More

I liked very much the gardens, you go from one garden to another. Lots of pots of flowers in all colours and shapes. You hear the sound of water, very relaxing. It is great especially if you want to see something local but also full of nature.

After a guided tour of La Mezquita, we also found the Palacio de Viana to explore. The house and gardens are certainly worth exploring and the modest entrance fee is well worth the cost. The tour of the house is guided and offered in English, offering a good understanding of the family that owned it, the various rooms and their... More
