Overview
More
The Palace of Viana is a lived house until the end of 20th century by noble families but with a great popular flavor instead. One of its main attractiveness are the "patios" and the garden that make it be known as Museum of the Patios. Indoor and outdoor are perfectly integrated, giving to the palace an original harmony. Among the collections stand out paintings, tapestries, leather and ceramic tiles among others.

This is an excellent sight of Córdoba. Palace has had seven owners from medieval time to renaissance and our time. It has five centuries history full of life. You can easily spend one hour enjoying the 12 beautiful andalusian garden patios. All are different. Then...More

A lot of wealth visible in this compound of connected buildings and gardens. We toured the house as well as the gardens, but caution that the house tours are only given in Spanish. It was still a visible feast to see the mostly 18th and...More

The gardens were beautiful. We wanted to tour the inside of the palace, but they only offered guided tours at specific times. If this is something that you would like to do, I suggest planning ahead.

Another wonderful experience not to be miss. Serene patios each with a difference. Meandering through the house to take in the history of the place.

We took the guide tour to visit the second floor. It's an interesting visit, you get to see all the different furniture and environment as it used to be when people were still living there. A nice stop in cordoba

We did not do the house to, but the Patios are what this palace is famous for, and they did not disappoint.

This is one of the higfhlights of Cordoba, and worth much more money and publicity, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone. The gardens are open to the public and they are an oasis escape from the touristy rush outside. They are a 10-15 minute walk from...More

The building dates back to the 16th century and has been extended several times over the centuries. It was built to house Spanish nobility and the old house and its artifacts are on display. But the real attraction of this house are the 12 patios...More
