Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Plaza de la Corredera is a fairly large enclosed public square. Its history goes back a long time, well before the 15th century. At some point the local Town Hall was here and the area also served as a prison for a while! At one time there was even a hat making factory in one of the buildings. Today there are many different markets, including cafes and restaurants. It's quite a good place to go for a walk and some relaxing time.

My wife and I did a quick walk through of Plaza de la Corredera on our way to our reservation at a nearby restaurant during our trip to Spain this past November. It was the off season and the large square was nearly vacant when we walked through. We didn’t go back the next day because we had the Mezquita to tour.

Arcaded houses surround this square, which dates back to 1683. Executions and bullfights took place here. There is also a 16th century market hall with a clock. When the weather is hot and sunny, you can walk around the square in the shade through the arcades.

Two days are enough for Cordoba. Everything is good, cozy, comfortable, beautiful. Naturally, the antique part of the city and a combination of three religions and different eras. Fascinating with antiquity. A very clean city, which is not typical for Spain.

Another pleasant plaza to wander to. Wouldn’t specially try to locate it but if you happen to arrive there, it is just nice to take a pause and enjoy the architecture. We were there in the early afternoon on a weekday in November and the plaza was pretty empty except for some diners. I suspect much busier during the summer. Enjoy.

I visited after lunch on a Saturday and the square was dead. There were table and chairs in the centre, but no cafés were open. The buildings looked like they were student accommodation. Maybe when the cafés are open and the square has some life in it, then it is more appealing. It struck me as a poor version of the large square near the university in Salamanca,

Was there just before 1pm and it was pretty empty square with a few people. The fresh market to one side was more interesting but not all stores were opened.
Dont go there just to see this square - pop in for a quick look as you transit between more interesting sites.

This is something like Plaza Mayor in every Spanish town, but here is called different ?!
It's little bit out of main tourist sites, however nothing is far in Cordoba. Square looks too big and somehow not fitting in old town. There was a market at one side, but nothing special.

We were a bit disappointed after quite a good walk in the heat to find this plaza nothing special at all although we did have tapas & drinks in the bar in the middle which were fine but very slow service. There was nothing there to make you return!

Restaurante Rafaelete, cerca de la Plaza de la corredera, esta justo enfrente de las ruinas romanas, en la plaza del ayuntamiento. Tiene carta y menú. Mejor reservar o ir pronto porque se llena.
Esta bien de precio
