Stay a while.

Great location for lunch and maybe evening to pass some time with a tapas and watch the world go by.

Recommended for drinks or lunch in sun. It does have a strange ambiance... May be because as previous TripAdvisor stated, it was used for executions!

The Plaza is modeled on the Castillan Plaza style reminiscent of Plaza Mayor in Madrid. It was the site of markets, the centre of political power struggles, and a place where the Inquisition executioners murdered those who failed their tests. Chilling.

Compared to Madrid or Salamanca this Plaza holds little interest. Architecturally it is not really very pretty, though a nice place to have lunch and enjoy the winter sun.

everyone sat on the other side of the place, but I had a great breakfast on my own. I felt pitty for the owner because he really did the best to give me a fine breakfast. the place is at the corner of Plaza de la Corredera and Sanchez Peña. try it, in stead of seating you with the crowd.

We passed by, watching the square and the cafes around it. We thought about sitting there for our lunch but it seemed to us too much touristic. It remembered us also the San Marco square in Venice. Lovely and lively!

Beautiful large plaza surrounded by the most stunning buildings in various styles. Lots of open air cafes to while away time people watching. Very photogenic.

I just walked by, it wasn't that much inviting to take a seat. It's a big square and thats actually alk there is...as far as I could see.

If you have visited one of Plaza Mayor of norther Spain, it will surely reminde you about one of them. Three sides are in the same style while the fourth is totally different.
