The is the historical ablution square of the former mosque, nice and shady with its fountains. We are also told that it used to be the place for the Muslim university during the 8-10th century

This is the courtyard outside the Mosque of Cordoba and is a pleasant place to walk and wait for tickets. It is usually quite busy but worth a stroll around the orange trees before netering the Mosque.

In late May the orange blossoms were in full bloom giving the courtyard/patio a glorious scent. It is a nice place to relax after visiting the Mezquita Cathedral though it is a pretty busy spot. Entrance is free!

Large landscaped open enclosure loaded with citis trees adjacent to the Mezqutta. A very nice spot to relax and the jumping off point to enter the Mezqutta/Catedral.

The smells outside and in the Patio de los Naranjos is amazing! It’s spacious, clean, and beautiful. Sitting out there in the sun is really relaxing also and seeing the architecture.
