The front nine are quite pleasant with some well designed holes but the back nine are simply a long slog with par 3's over 200 yards and 2 very long par 5's and a very ordinary closing hole. It is actually too long for higher handicappers and so becomes a bit of a slog. the greens were good and the... More

The title pretty much sums it all up. We were a group of 12 and we stayed for 3 nights to play golf on this beautiful resort, although the course is quite difficult with many of the par 3's around 200 yards off the yellows. The first issue we encountered was when we arrived at about 2pm on the first... More

We came here two days ago (with a reservation!) only to find out that only holes 8-16 were open. Would have liked to hear that beforehand! Instead of playing 8-16 twice, as suggested, we came back today for the full experience, and got a free buggy for the inconvenience. Nice gesture! The driveway to the clubhouse is an absolute disaster,... More

One employee to do everything at breakfast (make the eggs and bacon etc in the kitchen); seat guests; make the coffee; lay tables; clear tables etc is amazingly stupid, especially in a 4 Star Rural hotel rate. The hotel is tired and needs major refurbishment and remodelling. There is a 7" clearance between the shower guard and the sloping roof;... More

Holes 1 to 6 are very hilly and exhausting, thereafter it flattens out. Certainly peaceful but an uninspiring design with Par 4's that are too long for the average golfer. Hacienda is very comfortable but the half board evening meal was uninimpressive.

Played here last week. This is a great golf course. With a little bit of TLC in some areas i.e. bunker edges and paths, this could be a fantastic course. There are no houses on the course which is unusual and you have lovely views of the beautiful countryside. All the holes are different and the fairways wind their way... More

Very nice and intereseting course with a great variation due to four tee boxes, quite long from yellow (6000+ metres) so using blue 5600+ could be a nice option if you are not a long hitter or if you are starting up the season. Water dispensers reduce the need for bringing water botteles along. Early March the course were not... More

Beautiful and isolated location made for a very enjoyable round. Course in good condition and set amongst brautiful trees and wildlife. Really interesting layout with some great holes - especially liked 10, 11, 15 &17 - perhaps 18 is a dissapointing last hole. Thoroughly recommended.
