Worth walking around even if you are not buying. Massive fruit, veg and nuts. Everything very cheap.

Several vendors of meat, seafood, vegetables, fruit, cheese and who knows what occupies this market. It the genuine thing and a great spot to visit. As we didn't have breakfast included in our apartment this place was great for picking up some fresh products and combined with somethings from the several nearby bakeries it made for the perfect start of... Went here after reading other reviews on here, it's about five min walk from central train station, fresh fruit is stupidly cheap, apples €2 a kilo! The biggest oranges and grapes I've ever seen, we only staying in the area for few days so only bought few bits but if I was staying longer I could have done a weeks... More

We went to this market on a Saturday which probably wasn't the best idea as it was crammed full of customers and a lot of tourists. The market is vibrant and buzzing with atmosphere and the little tapas bars placed next to the front door are just wonderful. You can either eat stood at the bar inside the market or... More

Just an amazing selection of everything edible and very popular with tourists and locals alike. One section is devoted to fish of every size and description and the other side is full of vegetables, fruit and everyday cooking stuff. Lots of lovely tapas bars tucked in amongst the all these goodies. Stocked up on dried herbs in particular and anything... More

If like me you are a fanatic for markets, then head for the Atarazanas Central Market in Malaga and be prepared to be amazed, and pleased ! Every kind of fruit, veggies, pastries, shellfish, cheeses, wine. AND you can get lunch and more at tables outside on the sidewalk, in the sunshine !

This market is amazing the selection of fruit and vegetables is huge . Also the size of vegetables and fruit is much larger than we can get in the uk . A kilo of yummy strawberries for only one Euro how good is that and they are delicious.
