I visited the central market recently with friends who were visiting. They thoroughly enjoyed perusing the stalls. Everything from fruits and vegetables, to fish and seafood, meats and poultry as well as cheeses, charcuterie, dried fruits, and olives can be found. If you are hungry...More

Our visit to this covered market was a sensory delight as well a dip into the history of this city. The original building with the keystone Moorish arches, dates back to the fourteen hundreds and at that time it was...a shipyard! Apparently the water actually...More

I love to eat golden delicious apples every day and I shop for these at the Atarazanas Market. They have all sorts of fruits and vegetables and they are always fresh. This is a must see for tourists too.

Brilliant covered market in the centre of Malaga. Full of stalls piled high with fruit & veg. Also several mushroom stalls which were full of funghi that I did not recognise.

An amazing way to spend a few hours. Sample the local delicacies. Fruit, fish, meat, nuts. Everything your heart desires. English isn’t widely spoken but the store owners try really hard!

Excellent market. Really buzzing and quality of food on display superb. Great atmosphere and well worth the walk to the market and a wander round. Great stain glass window if you look up and to the gable end.

A limit amount of wine is accepted, the olives, if they are in can, there's no problem to bring them.
