Lot of nice restaurants

If you need something to eat or just a coffee, this is the place. We only had capuchinos but it was nice looking the life around the Plaza.

Rather large square, one of our favorite in Malaga. On the northern end there are a lot of refilling stations for drinks and food. Some quite good. Perfect place if you want to soak up the afternoon sun. In the center of the square you'll find a large obelisk commemorating victims for freedom fight back in 1831. The monument are... More

A great place to have a coffee or breakfast or chill out over a beer in the evening. Lots of tapas places.

You can watch the world go by from any of the local bars but just take in the sights and sounds of Malaga from any of the little bars around the Plaza, Plus Picasso's bithplace is on the corner......

A large square near the town centre close to the smaller market. Here you can sit next to a life sized bronze of Picasso! There a number of small restaurants on the Plaza, one of which is an Irish pub! All sell modest food and drink but no culinary delights,it's not that sort of place. Good for people watching. There are a number... More

My partner and I are having a couple of weeks in Malaga renting an apartment around the corner from the square. There are some great bars, it's difficult to pick out one but Picasso is good, especially during happy hour. Small beer 1 euro. Heaters at all bars, some show football. Some good places to eat all around the square.... More

I went there for 3 days in a row for lunch or a drink. Very nice when you feel the sun on your face after a long and cold winter so far. A lot of people walking around an a few good street musicians (Some crappy too of course) There is a Statue of Picasso sitting on a bench.

The first weekend in February was little cold and had been wet. However the square was full of people enjoying the fresh air. It is very central and is a gateway to other places.
