This museum shows the development of Picasso as an artist shown by different examples. The free audio guide is very good and explains everything. .

We love Picasso's work in all it's forms and styles. The included audio tour is brilliant. The building is beautiful. One part we loved was the basement where you can see Phoenician and Roman remains next to each other.

We stood a long time in the pouring rain to get into the museum but eventually made it. A most interesting collection of early and later works by Picasso, a must-see

Small museum but can easily while away an hour here. I love Picassos work so could appreciate it more than my unimpressed partner! Make sure you take the audio guide, helps you understand some of his work more deeply.

Really didn't know that much about Picasso so wanted to give this a try This museum had a wide range of his works from when he was a teenager until right before his death at 90 I had no idea he was so prolific and practiced his art in such a wide range of mediums from painting to sculpting to... My family and I had a wonderful time! I fell in love with the painting titled Francois and some of the other sculptures on display. Bring your ear buds if you don't want to hold the wand to you earlier to hear the person speak.

I wasn't expecting Guernica or Les Demoiselles but inescapably a second-rate collection of Picassos. There are far far better art collections than this in Malaga (Pompidou, Russian Museum, Thyssen). In the absence of quality pieces, more invention is needed. The filmed interview with the photographer who had stayed with Picasso is a start but more needed. They do seem to... More

The museum is not expensive to visit and a guide "paddle" is included in the entrance fee. Several languages are available. It is a rather large museum with many items even if it's not exhibiting any of Picasso's more famous pieces.
