Just walked along to see the different cafes restaurants shops all looking out at the various boats. The cruise ships all in one area then the sail another . It was a lovely sunny day when we went and was most enjoyable .

Walking one end to other and back. Area has some shops and lots of different types of restaurants for all wallets. It has free toilets and some entertainment for children. Yacths there were not so big as in Marbella or Monaco but maybe summer will bring them there? Nice area to walk around but cloudy and windy day not so... More

Since we are solar people and sea lovers, there's always something very special near a lighthouse. In Malaga, the whole port area gives you a taste o everything: promenade for lazy afternoons or early evenings, shopping area, restaurants, bars/cafes and ice cream parlors, marina with a display of everything from yachts to huge cruisers and of course the Mediterranean Sea... A stroll alongside the Port of Malaga is a must. A broad covered boardwalk to shield from the sun, dozens of shops and outdoor restaurants make this place a lovely destination to see and be seen.

Shops and restaurants and pop up bars abound. During the winter you see great sunsets from the port. Even though the sunshine was brilliant bring a jacket as the breeze can pick up. Nice for a stroll and right by the old town.

We walked from our apartment to the beach via the port/harbour area of Malaga. It's a very nice area with lots of seating and places to shop and eat. Lovely to do a bit of people watching and to watch the boats coming and going. You can go for boat trips and there are also Segway and bike tours located... More

There's plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding the entire port and it's an excellent place to spend the day shopping as well as enjoying the various types of restaurants. It's about 6 to 8 euros to take a taxi from the city centre down to the dock, depending on what time you go. (After 7 PM the taxi prices increase... More

A great place to shop, eat, drink or just promenade. It's also the way to the beach. Ideal for a stop off afterwards.
