the market is wonderful, and the fresh food is amazing. The building is beautiful, however this is a working market, not a spectator arena.

A fantastic market in a beautiful building. The choice and quality of the produce is amazing. We've shopped here on many occasions and will keep going back .

Interesting market building with obvious strong Mudejar features such as the entrance of giant horseshoe shape. The market stalls are nothing much maybe five or so open in the afternoon selling some poor meat, fish and vegetables. Maybe better in the early morning.

The Mercado de Salamanca has very interesting architecture. One can consider its architectural style as modernist and one is surprised when one sees it for the first time.

My wife and I were in the neighborhood and decided to buy some fruits and vegetables. There were many stands for these items and they all seemed to be at peak condition. We ended buying some Golden Delicious apples.

A beautiful building with a huge scenic stained glass window, heaving with locals. Oh I wish we were self catering! As good as the best I've seen in France.

The Salamanca Market is a public market where one can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, at very good prices. What calls attention is its beautiful Mudejar architecture, something very unique. It was built in 1922 by Daniel Rubio Sanchez.
