If in Málaga do not miss this small but fantastic museum. Lots of great art but of course limited by the fact that this is a one-artist-only museum. Only downside is the audio-units people is carrying. Very loud annoying noise to the rest of us; like a bee swarm in your ears.

It was an absolute pleasure to walk around Malaga with Juan. He was very knowledgeable and attentive and his background in architecture was invaluable when visiting i.e. Alcazaba. Highly recommend his tour ❤

We had an excellent day with Juan. He’s very knowledgeable about his city. We loved his explanations specially regarding Malaga’s architecture and the city’s diver flora. We took the three hour tour which was perfect. We would never have noticed well nor understood the city’s many details without his guidance. His English is very good as well.

Juan Diego has put in a lot of work in uncovering a completely unexpected view of the Spanish civil war in Malaga. It is through the eyes of foreigners that you see the impact of the war and not through the Spanish themselves! It was interesting and informative and only left me wanting to find out more about the Spanish experience itself.... next time, I hope!

Juan was our tour guide. He was at the designated meeting place ahead of time. He was very patient with us and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We enjoyed the virtual portion of the tour to truly see how Malaga looked like in the past. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I’m glad we booked this tour because we received a better understanding of the local sites and history of Malaga from someone who was born and lives in Malaga. Would I recommend this tour? Yes, I would. If we toured Malaga on our own, we wouldn’t have learned so much. Juan made Malaga worth the trip.

We chose a walking tour with Voila Malaga and it was wonderful. Our guide was smart and helpful. We saw everything important to see in Malaga. We would recommend this company!

Finally a guidet tour in Málaga which gave us a deeper insight into spanish history the last 200 years with a special focus on the decade of 1930 and how the spanish civil war startet and developed in this área.
Our guide, Diego, focused on the working class, their socio-economic situation, the obvios enormous gap between the very rich industrialists and the rest of the population by showing us the housing for the poor and the rich. Señor Diego is passionate about the history of expats in Málaga and their faith during the civil war. We had a very interesting day listening to what he told us and looking at what he showed us.

Juan was an excellent tour guide, very informative, friendly and a terrific guide for our first full day in Malaga. We hit the main spots in the old town section and spent a good deal of time walking through Alcazaba, learning the history of the various conquerors of Malaga. This is the kind of tour that a local person can do, dropping interesting tidbits here and there. What made it even more interesting is that Juan is a architect in his professional life; as a result, he was vastly knowledgeable about the mixture of various styles of buildings we were seeing. What a great introduction to this beautiful city. I would highly recommend Juan as a tour guide for your visit to Malaga.

Hola! estoy pensando en viajar a Málaga en agosto, pero tengo algunas preguntas. ¿Puede alguien ayudarme? Nunca he estado en Málaga antes, pero he oído que es increíble! Mi amigo estaba allí por tres semanas y dijo que debería ir allí. Quiero encontrar un hotel con vistas al mar, que está en la playa, alguna recomendación? El precio no importa. Mientras estoy en Málaga, lo que debo hacer y lo que se debe utilizar para el transporte para llegar a los lugares?

Málaga es absolutamente fantástico lugar para estar durante todo el año, incluso he vivido allí durante dos años. Un buen hotel Marriot es Marbella Beach Resort, situado directamente en la playa y tienen un área restringida que es sólo para los huéspedes.
Algunas de las atracciones más populares de Málaga, es; Catedral de Málaga, parque de Málaga, La Concepción Jardín Botánico Histórico de Málaga y Picasso Málaga Museo.
Al igual que en la mayoría de las grandes ciudades; transporte hay un montón de Málaga. Caminar es la mejor que se puede elegir, teniendo en cuenta todo lo que obtiene experiencia y ve.
