This museum is somewhat difficult to locate, not well signposted but Google maps will be really useful. However it's well worth the trouble. Entrance is free, the staff are pleasant and helpful. The building is beautiful and the art on display is outstanding. The central patio is especially tranquil. Highly recommended.

Every art- lover in Malaga must visit Museum Jorge Rando. - A must for any art-lover. A visit there and and you vill feel better inside. The staff is very nice and helpful, and you can ask any tricky quistion about the artist and his art. It is "hidden" art-places like this that makes it worth seaching for "new" art.... More

A contemporary artist who takes his responsibility in the society by referring to actual subjects and reminding us to fundamental values of humanity and a peaceful world and the respect to nature. The museum has also a nice library an atelier for students, which keeps the museum much more accessible to everyone and is also in use when there are... More

Bit difficult to locate and again staff agree more signposting needed in form of the famous Malaga Centro arrows. Beautifully restored building with lovely patio downstairs and even artists' workshops to peak into. His African paintings on the first floor are exceptionally moving and downstairs those on Motherhood and Woman are also emotionally charged. Some interesting sculpture as well.

If you like Expressionisms, this is a nice litte and also free! museum, which I liked a lot. This museum will show that there's more and also intersting painters in Malaga than Picasso. I liked this one more than the Museo Picasso

This is a wonderful little art gallery, which was free to get in. It consisted of some wonderful paintings by the owner Jorge Rando and fantastic sculptures from Carlos Criza. The design of the building is wondeful and the patio area exudes calm. We spent a very pleasant hour looking round the gallery and we all agreed it had been... More

This is a great little gallery exhibiting the work of Jorge Rando, his paintings, drawings and sculptures as well as the works of Carlos Ciriza. The building is part of the church and convent next door. It's spread over four rooms and there is a very pleasant courtyard in the middle. Staff are friendly and helpful and admission is free.... This gallery was, developed by Jorge Rando, a local artist. The design of the building is really good with workshop space as well as Jorge Rando's own work, some of which are quite powerful. They even organize musical events on Saturday mornings in the adjoining church.
