Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our accommodation was amazing. We had a two bedroomed apartment with a bath and two showers. Our major grouch was that the apartment was a distance from shops and beaches. The nearby cafes were quite expensive. The weather was much better than UK but quite gloomy and a bit rainy.

Huge market with lots to see & buy! Well worth a visit! Only complaint would be that the stalls are very close together so people are squashed when trying to walk through the market & particularly when you want to stop and have a look at a stall. When it’s hot, this is a nightmare! I didn’t get a chance to have a proper look as the kids were too uncomfortable with the crowds - there’s wasn’t that many people there, there’s just so little space to move around. Maybe going earlier in the day would be better?! We got there for about 11am, I think it starts at 9.

Would have been amazing, but unfortunately due to sheer number of people it was so HOT that you could not breathe! I imagine any time other than July/August, it would be great.

The market consists mostly of stalls selling fake designer goods ran by Africans and Arabs, with the odd clothing, pottery and wickerwork stall thrown in. Pretty shocking this is tolerated in an EU country. Needs a good police raid, or five.

There were very few stalks selling counterfeit items. We had coffee in the central square, that was about the exciting thing we did. It was bland with not many people

Very busy the later in the day you go. Some good bargains on clothes, beware of tat though. Keep your money close and out of site or it could find a new owner.

Up by the bullring, where there's a small flea market, this is well worth a visit.

One of the best street market in the area because it has loads of stalls all year round. In other towns they tend to drop off in the winter with a lot fewer stalls.

Great variety too. Fruit and veg, plants, handicrafts, household textiles, glasses, souvenirs, bags, jewellery, shoes, clothes. Have I forgotten something?

Probably!

Plenty of bars and restaurants at the top end to sit and rest your weary feet.

N.B. absolutely no parking. None at all. So walk, go on the bus, or taxi.
