Santa Clara is an old course set in the middle of a neighbourhood and close to the highway (this makes some holes a bit noisy). It is beautiful and, in spite of what an application like Golf Pad says (according t this is very easy) we found it rather challenging with lots of different holes, tees at various elevations, hills and valleys. Interesting and easy enough course. We just played 9 holes for 2 people and a cart for €100 which was a bit pricy for 9 holes. Nice driving range.

Played an early bird solo round for about 50 euro including cart as Spain was just getting out of lockdown from COVID. Had a twosome in front of me that I only waited for on a couple of holes on the front 9. Lots of hills so many shots with ball below or above feet. Also even with a cart, on holes where one had to walk to ball, it was tiring. Conditions were outstanding and greens rolled true. No service during the round bc of COVID understandable. signage leading from greens to next tee needs improvement. I played the wrong hole twice and was redirected once after looking obviously lost. No issue with theft or suspicious characters near my cart. There was a lot of signage warning against theft and I was vigilant. I would definitely play this course again. …

The course was too difficult for me but the restaurant and the staff was brilliant! Before and after playing golf we spent a good time there drinking beer and sangria, eating nice cheese plate and spanish ham.

We play this coarse every year, couple of changes have made, coarse was is stunning condition having recently changed head green keeper, food was also excellent, everyone was made to feel very welcome, the bar staff were probably the most happiest ever encountered in this area of Spain, out of the 4 coarses played on our trip this was the best over all…
