Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an interesting old Moorish bath house alongside the river Darro. Entry is via a combined ticket with 3 other places (we only visited one, the Palacio de Dar al-Horra) and costs €7 for a day ticket for all 4.
There are only a few rooms in the baths, they are pretty but there is no information to read so we were in and out in less than 10 minutes.

In Andalusia you can find Arab baths in practically every city and they are all similar.
Yet it remains fascinating to visit the Banuelo in Granada, in the heart of the equally fascinating Albayzin neighborhood in Granada.
Even more so on Sundays when entry is free.

This site was located near our hotel - so we stopped. But it was very expensive for a family of 4... there was no child/student discount. It took approximately 5 minutes. It officially included two other sites - and was explained to us that we could visit those other sites as well.

The Banuelo are the remains of the hamman that was located in the lower part of the Arab Albaycin neighborhood, it is made up of various restored rooms, but they are mostly in their raw state
If you have an extra day in Granada you can visit the series of Monumentos Andalusies which can be visited with a separate ticket or with a combined ticket which also includes the Alhambra
they are part of the Monumentos Andalusies
Carbon corral
The Bañuelo
The Palace of Dar al-Horra
The Maristán
The Moorish Houses
The Qubba of the Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo

Small but wonderfully retained/restored, this is a quick stop to view some history. Since most Arab baths were destroyed when the Catholics took back southern Spain in the mid centuries, one that is this well-kept is hard to find. There is not a lot to see so a very quick stop but it was also free to get in the day we were there.

This is a good little site, but really not enough for the €5 entrance fee (which also covers two other sites). The good thing about that is that you’ll have the place per much to yourself for the three minutes you spend in there. Not much in the way of information

Yes, the bath is old (11th century), but there is literary nothing to see. the ticket costs 5 EUR and it allows you to visit 3 other places (again not that interesting and not located closely to each other) - Dar al-Horra Palace, Horno de Oro House and Corral del Carbon. So, if you are in Granada for a longer period and happen to be around on Sunday (when the entrance is free), perhaps you could pay a visit.

As has been said this is a small place but is only a short walk from the centre. You can purchase a ticket (5 Euros) which covers this and other sites around the Albacin. As has been intimated below it is a wonder this has even survived. The short visit does require imagination but is a delight. This is rated on the basis of knowing what you are visiting.

We visited on Sunday and apparently it is free on Sunday to visit this place. Normally cost is 2 euros per person. I cannot imagine why they are charging for this place. There is really nothing to see here. You cannot even imagine what it used to look like. Maximum it will take you about 8 minutes to see this place. Not worth the time or money.
