Excellent view, good healthy walk up a mountain side!

Have a glass of wine or dinner at the top of the mountain before returning. Its about a 20 minute hike up, very interesting and great vista. Worth the walk!

We took the # 31 red minibus that winds its way to the top of Albayzin and got off near this viewpoint. It provided for several lovely pictures of the Alhambra in the distant. Do meander down the narrow side streets for other views...there was a private little art gallery with a lovely garden just half a block to the... More

So many memories there...It is a great place to go in couples or with friends, to watch the sunset, play or listen to music. It is always full of people to meet... The neighborhood is great for an adventure in the small pedestrian streets looking for great tapas places...

We didn't actually go into the Mirador but the wall ouside the church of St Nicholas is perfect for watching the sunset over the Alhambra. Some lovely bars and restaurants along the path leading up to the hill.

This is the classic viewpoint, always crowded, and offering a couple of reasonable places to eat.

We got a little lost on the way up, luckily it's a very popular spot and anyone you come across along the way would most likely be able to point you in the right direction. We were here before sunset and hung around until dusk, just sitting on the ledge enjoying the view. Definitely worth the uphill climb.

I like the sightseeings and the road up - although it might be difficult for some people if it is made by feet

You know you can see the Alhambra from there ..... but the first view of the citadel with the backdrop of the snow covered Sierra Nevada mountains is quite simply breathtaking.
