This plaza is beautiful to spend an afternoon with friends, you can have a small picnic if you desired. This plaza is visited by the many locals around when the sun goes down and by night the fountain comes to live with colorful lights. The gardens have roses and some beautiful plants and trees. Good spot for nice pictures, because... More

I would really call it's place a park, it's more like a place with lots of greenery, flowers and trees - it's a nice place for a short break, but because it's close to two main roads it's rather noisy in there.

As a lover of squares and fountains, i loved this one, too! found it accidentally, saw it from far while on the C2 bus and decided to visit it from close. Very big square with nice gardens, and the fountain ia really amazing, especially at night when the water is lighted in three colors... really beautiful!

Atmosphere is really chilled at this "park". I liked people going there to just hang out with friends, walking their dogs, playing guitar or whatever they feel like doing plus the historical Hospial Real building in the background. Just love it.

Lovely gardens at the beginning along the Avenue de la Constitution. After visiting here continue your walk down the central walkway of Av de la Constitucion, where there are many famous statues. At the end and just opposite the Museo de Ciencias before the roundabout, you will see the large monumental head of Christopher Columbus.

The Fuente del Triunfo Gardens has the monument to the Immaculate Concepcion. This is a statue of the Virgin Mary on top of a marble pillar. The artist was Alonso de Mena and he made it in 1621. At night the gardens and fountains are lighted and it is a very good place to visit.

There is a park adjacent to the Avenida de la Constitucion called the Fuente del Triunfo. The park goes up the hill and near the end of the park is a huge column with the statue of the Virgin on top. Behind this is a wall of impressive fountains, and these are run only in the afternoons. The fountains are... More
