Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The extremely hot temperatures in Granada means shade is a must. This fountain is located in a shaded park that allows you to enjoy the weather and cool down. The added bonus is the lovely designed fountain that provides a spectacular water display. It is quite an energetic display that at the same time is soothing while resting. Great for pictures and videos for architectural lovers.

Fuente de las Batallas is situated in a really lovely area of Granada. The fountain itself is a wonderful sight and it's fascinating to just watch the water spring from the water jets. There are many seats in the vicinity and it is quite relaxing sitting there and doing nothing at all. Or you might choose to sit at one of the several cafes and other eateries in the general area and just watch the world go by.

This beautiful monumental fountain is centrally located in Plaza del Campillo near Puerta Real.
This Baroque-style fountain is especially beautiful at night when it is illuminated.

Really nice park next to canal, with pretty fountain at the end. Lots of shade, which is good when it’s hot outside. Some places to sit down and relax or to have something to eat.

Modern Granada is characterised by grand avenues connecting squares with grand fountains and a variety of statues. When we visited, the nearby wide boulevard San Anton had a fascinating photographic exhibition at its centre, which led up to the square and the fountain itself, reflecting the wider culture of Granada.

The Fuente De Las Batallas or "Fountain of the Battles" in Plaza del Campillo. It's a large fountain in the Baroque style. It's design is of four arches supporting a single column. Not especially interesting to look at. The plaza is in a busy part of the city with many restaurants and cafes to watch the world go by.

Fuente De Las Batallas is another great fountain of which there seems to be one in every square. Charming with a simple design and keeps everyone cool.

It is certainly a beautiful fountain. It is in the heart of the city, just a little bit off the main tourist circuit though on what the city has labelled a "tapas route." I was there early in the evening and saw families and couples hanging out eating ice cream and pizza. Definitely worth a stroll.

We arrived in the evening and was told about the Granada Card by our hotel. Walking from our hotel to get our card, we walked past this beautiful fountain. It was a warm evening and there was hardly any wind and thus did not experience the spray from the fountain. It is a fantastic view at sunset as the sun set behind the row of buildings behind the fountain (towards town center)
