Bullfighting (or as they call it in Spain, "Corrida De Toros") is not a "sport" that I can say is something that I can support, but its a big part of Spanish culture and history, and on a trip to Seville, curiosity got the better of me.
I booked this tour as it gave exactly what I was looking for, in that it toured me around the Bullring and Museum, and gave me a better understanding of what happens.
While not the most extensive of tours, a lot of ground is covered, and the museum part is rather interesting, and does give some good insight that I never knew about.
After a walk through the museum, you then go out on to the actual ring itself, where you can walk around at your own leisure.
All in all a rather fascinating tour, and worth doing if you are in Seville.

I was quite surprised that there was a museum also - I thought it would just be a tour of the ring. I am glad I booked the tour, I always prefer having a guide explain and talk about the site. My tour had to be moved to a different day so thankfully I was able to accommodate the different day, I probably wouldn't have had the same experience going on my own.

So this is a PR stunt to vindicate bull fighting
It's a disgraceful spectacle and they try and sell it as an acceptable pastime

The tour didn't happen. We arrived at 09:45 for a 10:00 tour. There was a sign posted on the bullring that said it was closed to tours due to the occasion of the "Noches de la Maestranza" concert series.
No communication from the tour guide in advance that this was happening. I reached out to the tour guide immediately through Trip Advisor for a refund, but they have not communicated at all. Additionally, no other tickets were available for the duration of our trip, so we missed this entirely.
I'll have to wait till I return home, but if there is a charge for this on my credit card I will have to dispute it.

We booked tickets for a guide and audio tour via the Get Your Guide app. It gave us good prices and also explained the tour description, meeting point for the start and a map. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable however we were slightly disappointed to turn up and be told that the bull arena had a stage erected in the middle for a concert and therefore we wouldn't get the full effect as we entered the bull ring from the stands. We decided to carry on with the tour as we had walked in 42+ degrees heat to get there and already paid. It should have been explained at the time of booking. The museum is fantastic and divided into four parts. It was really helpful having a guide as she was able to explain all the artefacts and history of bullfighting whereas otherwise we may have just wandered around looking at things. Bull fighting is certainly a Spanish culture and the history is interesting. I did come away with a much better informed knowledge on the subject. We walked into the arena via the stands and it was amazing. Just a shame about the stage bang in the middle . There are concerts running from 1 - 16 September 2023 and so be mindful before you book if you want the full effect. Am I glad I went - Yes! It's definitely an important part of Spanish history and culture and my 13 year old daughter really enjoyed it.

Our tour guide was excellent , very knowledgeable about the bullring and bull fighting history. We found it very interesting and informative. We hadn’t planned to go to the bullring but friends if ours visited Seville two werks previous to us and they recommended it, and I am so glad they did. I think it was one of my highest of our trip.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about bullfighting and its long history. It is nothing like I expected or the mythology of the sport outside bullfighting countries.

We all loved this tour of the Sevilla bullring. The guide was awesome and took her time to explain the history and was really great at explaining the tools of trade at the museum inside. I picked up a few posters at the gift shop to top it all off!
