Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Vicki was very kind and pleasant to chat with for a couple hours while teaching us how to make our mosaics. She even toured us through the venue to see some historic mosaic related items. We had a great time!

The mosaic workshop was held in a corner of the marketplace; this was a nice environment to do it. The class was rather basic, mainly cutting tiles and gluing them to a backer board, but enjoyable. I wondered how she would handle people of different skill levels (my fiancé had experience doing mosaics; I had none). Nevertheless, we met other participants and had a fun time doing this, comparing techniques and designs.

I booked to go on a Wednesday at 9am by selecting the available slots. It was then cancelled by email by the instructor and rescheduled for the next day at 4 which meant I had to cancel my plans on my last day of my holiday.
I was expecting a group class of six or so people at the university as advertised but it was just me and the instructor and it was held at a hostel.
I was given a very small piece of wood as a tile and then was shown how to make the mosaic.
I thought I’d have a larger tile and that the class would be for two hours but it was over in an hour and a half. The instructor was very nice but was distracted by her mobile phone that she spent most of the time texting or calling on.
She was very nice and we had a good chat but as a teacher myself I would recommend that she was more focussed on her fee paying students.
It wasn’t cheap for what it was but I enjoyed working on my tile and have a souvenir to take home.
As a solo creative traveller I would have liked to know before I went that there would be no other people there and also where the course was actually taking place. I thought we were just meeting at the hostel.

It is a very original and relaxing experience to get to know Sevillian culture. The duration of the activity is perfect. Viki is a very good guide and in addition to helping us with the mosaics, he told us many things about the history of the city. He also gave us some postcards. 100% recommendable.

Bici welcomed us in front of the market halls in Triana. At first it was a little confusing that we were having our workshop in the halls. It was very loud because of the construction work. But then it calmed down and she worked wonderfully with us. She took the time to tell us a bit about the history during a short tour of the district. This meant that she was able to tell us a lot that we wouldn't have otherwise learned. Mosaics are not easy and require calm and patience. At the end we were allowed to take our own mosaics home with us. We are very happy with our mosaics and have positive memories of the workshop.

I highly recommend it. We spent a relaxing time learning things about Seville and making our own Arabic mosaic that we took with us as a great souvenir. It's totally worth it.
