This is a beautiful and amazing building - from the outside! It dominates the landscape, and as such is helpful in finding your way around. But we were disappointed inside. Yes notable people are remembered within the building and as a museum this is fine. We did miss the Spiritual element.

It's a Cathedral, it's massive and it's probably going to be what you expect. But you should go. For me the best point is the Bell Tower with its fantastic views of Seville. It's a bit of a hike to get up it but well worth it.

A must see sight in Seville. Just magnificent. Superb architecture and awesome building. We went in the afternoon when it was bit less busy. The Girolda Tower is a nice gentle walk up the ramps to observe stunning views across Seville. A visit here should be on top of every visitors list.

Not to be missed in Seville is the Cathedral, and it would be hard to miss because it is immense- the third largest cathedral in Europe. Highlights were the high altar, the art pavilion and my favorite the Tomb of Columbus. Look for the pallbearer piercing a pomegranate, the symbol of Granada, with his spike pointed cross, commemorating the completion... More

We went to Sunday Mass which was a great way to admire the space at length. Mass was great and it was crazy to think that Christopher Columbus's tomb was a few yards away.

A large cathedral with lots to see inside, but the crown of the exhibit is the panoramic views from the top of Giralda tower.

We didn't expect to spend too long in the Cathedral with two teenage boys but there was plenty to see and the walk up the bell tower was really interesting with a great view at the top and also some beautiful views on the walk up the ramp to the top which was easier than stairs. We did this on... More

Wandered in here expecting a quick visit like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Instead we were treated to an amazing histor lesson. The cathedral is filled with lots of Christian artifacts from the last 700 years. Most are well preserved. Would highly recommend the walk up the bell tower, it's a easygoing trek with amazing views of Sevilla.

I'm sorry to say that I feel really disappointed as a visitor to Seville. The air pollution almost everywhere in the city centre is terrible - from lingering 2nd hand smoke. It appears as though almost everyone smokes here - which insinuates the government does very little to tackle this public health problem. I wonder how much money the Spanish... More
