Overview
More
The Barrio Santa Cruz used to be the Jewish quarter. The streets are narrow and form a labyrinth. It’s easy to get lost among the jasmine-scented streets… only to discover a convent or a palace or a hotel. Many of the palaces have wrought iron gates suitable for peeping into their beautiful patios. There are many small stores and some artisan shops, as well as good art galleries.

So much culture - don't miss the narrow, windy maze of streets of this Jewish quarter...and be sure to take in a flamenco show

I paid a mere 8 euros for a guide in this neighborhood and it was 100% worth it. I was able to learn legends, history, and the how’s and why’s behind this wonderful neighborhood. I hope to have time to go and “get lost” in...More

This is a must see area of Sevilla. The old Jewish quarter is home to balcony lined streets that are seemingly endless. Near the Plaza de Santa Cruz is the narrowest street if you can find it. This area is quite touristy but fits the...More

Eating can be a bit over the average price if you don't know the places to go. The architecture and monuments are wonderful, though.

The narrow streets of this neighborhood invite you for a walk back in time. The architecture, the colors, the smells, the asphalt... it is one of the most enchanting paths that connect the beautiful garden of "Jardines de Murillo" with the Old part of the...More

We stayed in the Barrio Santa Cruz (at the Hotel Fernando III - which is highly recommended). It is a maze of small streets, amazing architecture and also features very nice restaurants, hotels, etc. This neighborhood is a big part of the overall Seville experience.

Walking through this quaint district felt like we were travelling back in time. To when the citizens of Seville lived in harmony. And this cosy part of town was known as the Jewish Quarter. We wonder how old the orange trees in the Patio de...More

This area is also known as the "Jewish Quarter", implying of the past when the Jewish, being exiled into different places managed to find a footing here. Most of the buildings are shophouses styles but now being transformed into pastry, souvenir and gift store, cafes...More

Lanzarote is in the Canaries more than a 1000 miles from Andalusia` I have never been to the Canaries Don't bother planning tours to mainland Spain in such a short time-even by private jet you would be wasting your time
