Don't let the queue outside put you off! Book online the day before and you will walk in

In the off season it is only open until 5. We didn't realise this and queued from about 3, when we got inside to the ticket area at about 4pm we realised the reason it takes so long is because there is one person on the ticket desk! I can't understand this, surely if there an hour long queue outside... More

It may have been the time of year but it was not packed with tourists so we could move about at a leisurely place. What I liked about Real Alcazar was the mix of architectural styles. In particular, I found the Moorish areas to most interesting due to the ornate work in the walls and ceilings. The gardens are wonderfully... More

Buy tickets in advance-at least a day early to avoid lines. We didn't do that but the line was approx 45 min. Im sure peak season could be over 2 hrs. Very cool experience and a must see if you are visiting seville. We did get the audio tour which was helpful in understanding what we were looking at. In... More

This palace is a wonderful concoction of beautiful moorish tiled courtyards and gardens. Although there are many visitors each day, the palace is large enough to get a wonderful peaceful feel about it. Would highly recommend.

Whilst it doesn't have the size of the Alhambra, in some ways it is more manageable. Because it was February there wasnt much growing in the gardens but they were still spectacular with fountains and orange and lemon trees. Make sure you book online as the queues were big but we could walk straight to the front. We had booked... More

This palace combining both Muslim and Christian history is an absolute must. It is still official residency for the current mornarchs of Spain. I would recommend booking tickets in advance, you can of course turn up on the day but there is always a queue.

Another must-see in Sevi - but make sure you follow the map closely. I bet you 50p that, at some point, you will say some bad words about it. Amaxing rooms with stunning décor. But make sure you allow enough time to do the gardens, Another confusing thing about the map, it gives the impression there's an upper floor -... More

I was interested to see this place not only for its historical value, but also because I'm a fan of Game of Trones and I wanted to see where were filmed some scenes I liked in the movie. Compared to Alhambra of Granada or to Real Alcazar of Cordoba, the price is too high for what the site offers. We... More
