    Must See !!!
The Palace which is steeped in history is an architectural wonder!! There is beautiful intricately put together tile work on walls, staircases, floors,.... The three dimensional honeycomb archways are breathtaking......the patios and gardens are quite beautiful!. You can purchase tickets on-line or what we did was simply walk to the ticket office where there was only a five minute wait at 6:00 P.M. on a Tuesday.

Alcazar forever and careful of the peacocks
The gardens are far bigger than i expected and are stunning. Leave a day for all this. There is also a great cafe where they serve a delicious beer Alhambra 1789 )approx!) in a green bottle with no label. I mention this as a wine drinker.

    Seville Tour Guide
Recommend to take a tour guide to get detailed explanation of Cathedral, Alcazar Palace and Garden area. Ideal time to visit before May or after Sept months. Tour guide Joseph was really cool and kept the conversations lively. He also took care of belongings when you go up the Giralda tower it is a 15 min walk steep in cathedral tower. But, the Tour guide should try and balance between the time provided for explanations and free time to tourists in between the tour. We could not take photos. Because, after the tour is over (3 hours) you are tired to do anything else. So, one way to get this fixed is to request the Tour guide for some free time.

Such a beautiful palace; worth getting a small group tour guide
Totally amazing, the palace and gardens are so beautiful. We got a tour guide for a 2 hour tour and it really helped. Lots of steps up and down, it's a huge place so wear comfy practical shoes and bring a bottle of water too, even a sunhat if you're going to spend some time walking in the gardens.

    Stunning
I have been in theAlacazar during my previous trip to Seville, but nevertheless I have been as amazed as on my first visit. Its a stunning place, both the palace and the gardens. I'll definitely go back again. If you want a more budget options, they have a 1€ tickets for Mondays at 6.30pm (need to be booked in advance).

ust Pre-book and don't bother with audio guides.
Beautiful palace and gardens a must see. Pre-book tickets online and print them out if possible (the guard had trouble scanning tickets on my phone) inside grab a map. We went for the telephone guide download the app arty max and pay 6.50 at the booth inside the entrance. Be warned even this audio guide is pretty rubbish! You have to leave your phone open the whole time, it's quite boring and glitchy! You can download rick steves audio guide for free and hear a bit about the main courtyard. There is a balcony near the gift shop where you get a great view of the gardens. Try to go at a time that is less busy. Personally preferred the alhambra but still worth visiting.

    Amazing place
Absolutely beautiful. Well worth the visit. Average admission price. Queuing was a pain despite having timed tickets. Staff didn't appear to speak English; strange considering the number of tourists. Beautiful architecture. Wonderful photo opportunities. Lovely quiet areas and tranquil pools. The gardens are absolutely superb. So many species of plants. Beautiful peacocks on the lawns. Incredible place and an absolute must to visit if in Seville. A map of the site would have been useful.

    Favorite Sevilla Experience!
We got here on July 28th, 2022 around 10am. I estimated 3 hours here but we only spent maybe 1.5hrs, but we also had twin toddlers with us. I think if you wandered around the gardens and really got to take your time. We weren't sure where to enter but it's at Puerta del León. A kind staff member on the other side of the building directed us where to go! Like many Game of Thrones fans, I had found out that this was the filming location for the Water Gardens of Dorne. It is so pretty, though I'm sure they had to do some CGI to cover up all the brown dirt paths! Right before we left, we stopped by the Baths of Maria De Padilla, the place where, in Game of Thrones, the Sand Snakes plot. It's so pretty in there and I really liked it. You can't get back to where they stood as they block you off from going too deep inside but nonetheless, it's so nice. I had noted that the highlights to see are the Hall of the Ambassadors/Throne Room (main showstopper), Courtyard of the Maidens, Courtyard of the Dolls and the Hall of Tapestries in the Gothic Palace. Like so much of Real Alcazar de Sevilla, they were all very beautiful! This was one of my favorite things we did in Sevilla!

    Go Early for the Gardens
We got there early (first entrance time at 9:30 I believe) and we were very ghlad we did. We toured the gardens first and it was delightful to wander around these beautiful gardens. Then we went inside and it was starting to be a circus; in addition, the rooms are mostly bare and not many explanations about how they were used etc. So we really didn't appreciate the inside of the buildings and we went back to the gardens. By that time there were hords of people - so take our advice, go early. Certainly worth a visit but be prepared for crowds.

Excellent Cross Section of Seville Architecture
Visited Seville with my wife and 2 20+ daughters. I thought this was a great museum to get a perspective of the the cultures that have Impacted this part of Spain. The Moorish part of the museum was exquisite. You have to want to go through all the rooms - I.e. don’t go when you are tired especially in 35-40 C degree temperatures. If you have young kids make sure you show them the Peacocks.

Worst customer service ever. They do not like Americans. Literally would not let us in even know we bought tickets. Be aware.

Must see Monument to see in Sevilla. This is something you cannot miss when visiting Sevilla. It takes about 2 hours or more to see the gardens and rooms.
It is best to buy the tickets online and not wait to get them. A valid passport is needed if you are from another country,

Interesting architecture, but on our visit the gardens were closed due to wet weather, so there was no access to the cafe either. Plus although I booked tickets online a few weeks prior, we couldn't go to see the upper palace rooms, apparently you need to book that months in advance. The audio tour was very basic.

They do not respect guest at all! I think they forgot you pay them money! The worse place ever! They lie to customers!
We bought the tickets for 18:30, and Boone informed us that at 19:30 it will be closed! There wasn’t information on web when he bought and also no information when we entered. They just make you pay and do not provide the service you paid for. During 1 hour we only were able to see the building, to the gardens they didn’t allow us to go!
We made the reclamation, but I do not believe they will solve the issue! No respect to people who visit their Alcázar. And moreover is nothing special, the same thing as on other part of Andalusia. It not worse to pay 18 eur!
Will never come back to this place!
Sevilla is nice. But Alcázar nothing special and staff is not friendly as all

Wondrous it was to wander in amazement around the vast edifice. Comprising numerous palaces and rooms.

Ornateness to delight the senses is everywhere, none more so than in the exquisite Palace of Pedro I.

Extensive water features and gardens provide a relaxing, tranquil and enhancing experience.

Personally I think this attraction is overated.
The palace is alright but seems to be room after room of the same thing and the gardens are OK but nothing special ( April ), however they might look better in the summer?
The staff were wholly unhelpful and as for the audio guide….. DON’T BOTHER!!
We paid for 2 audio guides and gave up on both….. waste of €14!!
In fact we only spent a total of about an hour on the whole house and gardens.
I expect if you’re Spanish it would mean more to you but as for me it meant nothing.

From other reviews, I can see I’m not the only one who has experienced terrible customer service on a tour for this monument.

Whilst out, I booked 2 tickets for the audio tour the following day and on the booking confirmation I received, it said I would need to fill in a form with the attendee details (names, nationalities, passport numbers etc) before receiving the tickets. As the required passports were in my hotel room, I filled these forms in later in the afternoon, but my payment had been taken.

When arriving at the monument the next day, I was told I don’t have tickets secured and therefore couldn’t gain access, due to filling the form in ‘late’. Apparently, hidden away in the terms and conditions on their website, it details that you have 30 minutes to fill the forms in, or you risk losing your tickets, despite taking your money! I was told I could transfer our booking to the next day but unfortunately we were leaving that morning.

It would make a lot more sense for this information to be clear on the booking confirmation, or even to require the passport details when booking in the first place.

Don’t get caught out like I did, €66 down the drain!

This is an amazing place to visit so make sure you leave enough time, I would suggest three hours. In my opinion it's a better visit the cathedral. Make sure you buy your ticket online before you go otherwise you may not get in, at the very least you will be in a very long queue. I suggest you get your ticket from the Alcazar own official web site because some third party vendors tickets are not accepted on the day.

It was one of the best places I've ever visited. I love all things Moroccan and this was just breath taking. No photos I've taken do it justice, I purchased a very inexpensive book at the end from the gift shop as the pictures were beautiful with some lovely snippets of info.
Some info in English had been erased from the boards which was odd. I think we should have got an audio guide. So I'm glad I purchased the book.
The gardens were out of this world. Game of thrones was filmed there and we found the location spots, which was fun to find.
We ate lunch in the restaurant and can recommend the coffee, beer and pizza breads which they warm up for you. The ham and cheese roll was a bit bready but a welcome snack nevertheless.
