This tower has its own beautiful and ancient history, which will not leave indifferent any tourist who wants to plunge into the culture and history of hot Spain.

While the views of the river from the Torre de Oro, the museum itself is overpriced and I didn't learn much. It is a naval history museum. You can definitely get better views from the Giralda Tower!

We visited the Torre del Oro last Monday and to were pleasantly surprised that entry was free on Mondays. The views of the river side and building from the top are nice. there is also a small informative museum inside. To be honest, I am...More

This is one of Seville landmarks. You have an interesting museum about the city's history and the sea navigation crucial role in the city's changing fortunes. On top of the tower there are nice views to the city and the river.

Lots of history, well presented, great views of the city and river. If you like naval history it’s worth a trip.

Rode past in a horse and cart. Views are probably reasonable inside. Would be worth a visit given adequate time.

Set by the banks of the river, this tower rightfully houses the Naval museum. So far inland you would- unless very good on Spanish history realise that this is where Spanish explorers left to discover the New World and on their return from the Americas,...More

The best day to visit is a Monday when admittance is free. The tower dates from the early 13th century when it was part of the walled defences and interestingly just like in Game of Thrones a chain stretched from the tower to a similar...More

We we visited Torre del Oro or the Tower of Gold when we were in Seville. There wasn’t much gold on display to be honest but it was interesting to have a look around the tower nonetheless. The views are great too.

We arrived mildly interested in visiting this tower and came out so glad that we did! So much history to learn about with the emphasis on naval history. Unusually for me I read every caption in there and thoroughly enjoyed the timeline encircling the ground...More

Good views from the top of the tower. About in the middle is a naval museum, with reliques of ships and naval equipment. Entry is quite cheap at 3€, and actually goes towards a donation to the fondation of the naval museum.

It's cheap to go up and there are stairs. Whether they can climb it depends on health. Definitely not for frail or handicapped people. I was slightly winded and I am 56 and in reasonably good shape. The view made it worth... More
