Fantastic building, wonderful spaces, galleries to die for and a collection containing some of Spain's finest plus a few well chosen 'others' but, but the ratio of sacred to secular subjects... I left having enjoyed my visit but rueing the fact that Spain's best were...More

There are many interesting paintings here, most of them on a religious theme right up to the 29th century. At the moment there is a Murillo exhibition. Entry is free.

Even though we love modern art we enjoyed our visit, there was enough for us to take in. All displayed in a sensitive way to suit the works of art. The actual buildings where the collections are housed are beautiful and there is lots of...More

We first visited this museum in 2015 and were impressed by its collection and layout. We decided to return and spent almost two hours on this visit. The museum houses primarily Spanish religious art. For us, the fact that there were few descriptions in English...More

Quite a small art museum housed in a former convent which is predominantly devoted to religious art. If that is not your interest then don’t visit. Occasional English translations of picture labels and room descriptions but not consistent. If you are not a Spanish speaker...More

Museo Bellas Artes is worth a visit. It’s not far from the beaten tourist path, but it’s in a quiet area of Seville. They have a fine collection of 16th and 17th century Spanish art——heavy on the religious theme, of course. But these are beautiful...More

We stumbled on this place as we wandered around the centre of Seville, We went on a Sunday morning, like most of Spain there are no shops open so what better time to go for a stroll around the art museum. We were pleasantly surprised...More

I have Christian art fatigue but if you are a fan this museum has some masterpieces and a small but lovely collection of romantic era Spanish artists. It also does not have a single piece of art by a female artist which is appalling.

Stopped by here for an hour and it was a great hour spent out of the heat. First floor art pieces had English translated info as well. 2nd pieces didn’t. 1.5 euros per person. They have lockers to put your stuff in as well.

Has some lovely open courtyard gardens, uncrowded - skip the Alcazar and come here instead. Amazing fine art pieces and a great place to cool down.
