Flamenco project Flamenco Esencia is hosted by bar T de Triana, along the river guadalquivir. Esencia is a project by flamenco artists themselves, because they want to bring authentic and spontaneous flamenco to the public. The kind that you hope to see on the streets yet only exists in gypsy houses. Part of the venue is closes of with curtains, to create a living-room like space, where only 34 peolpe fit in. Four internationally renowned artists will perform, and while they perform explain some things about the art and its history. You can ask questions too, the artists are all very esasy to talk too. If you would like to have some tapas, that is possible before and after the show, since it is too small to put tables in, and we really want to create an atmosphere where everybody is experiencing flamenco to the fullest. We always open on fridays and sundays, but if you are with a group of at least 10, we can open at any day and any time for you. Just get in touch by email of phone.

Great experience. Brilliant introduction to flamenco in a great setting. The quality of the dancing was excellent and the guitar and vocals were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the little bit of information given about each dance. Much recommended.

Great emotion, really nice people. Great artists (both musicians both dancers). Very kind and able to let you "feel" flamenco. Love! Ps We ate at ES3NCIA vinos&arte, Triana, Calle Betis 20, before the show. Very good food not expensive!

La Zingara is one of the most fluid and knowledgable Flamenco dancers one could find in Seville. She knows every move I have seen in 30 years and quite a few more, always delivered with style. Maria compliments La Zingara's dancing with her own masterful...More
