Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great on the msall side theme park to have a nice day with the kids. Kids under 15 will love it. Perhaps alittle tame for the older crowd. There are places to get wet and cool off.

We had so much fun. Sure it's a bit of a celebration of Spanish colonialism. But the water rides are amazing! I recommend the log ride!

Ate burgers at the only food venue and within 48 hours had severe food poisoning which was diagnosed as campylobacter which is caused by bacteria from meat. We had extreme vomiting and were ill for a week.
Disgusting toilets with very little toilet paper and overflowing bins.
Long lines to get onto rides with lack of ventilation.
The water around the slides was very dirty which splashed onto your face etc

Overall an unpleasant experience and I would absolutely avoid!

Being February so well out of season’s opening. Nevertheless it was fun walking past and seeing the colourful attractions.

It is unquestionably a major popular exciting excursion for kids of all ages.

Was disappointed with the water park not very big and limited sun beds to use on the plus side plenty of places to get cold drinks. Isla magica it self was good

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Isla Mágica water park in Seville on a Sunday in August, and I must say, it was a major letdown. From start to finish, the park's poor management was evident in nearly every aspect of the visit.

One of the most glaring issues was the attitude of the staff. Not only were they clearly overworked, but their rudeness was shocking. It seemed like they had little patience for visitors' questions or concerns, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere right from the beginning.

The water park's protocols were a disaster. Queues upon queues seemed to be the theme of the day, with the staff rolling their eyes at the crowds and engaging each other for their own amusement with little concern for the paying public. The process of obtaining inflatables for the water slides was convoluted, involving waiting for them to be handed over by the previous riders, and then standing in yet another queue to actually go on the ride. This inefficiency resulted in wasted time and frustrated patrons, detracting significantly from the overall enjoyment of the experience. Waiting became the order of the day and we only managed to get on two slides after all the waiting.

Even the simple task of storing personal belongings became a headache. The scarcity of lockers was astonishing, and to make matters worse, the locker keys were attached to metal key fobs that were neither waterproof nor easy to carry safely. Requiring a paper receipt to return the key only added to the inconvenience, leaving visitors struggling to keep track of the necessary items for a smooth locker return process.

The bathroom situation was equally dismal. With flooded facilities and a lack of changing rooms, basic hygiene and privacy became luxuries that were sorely missed. Such conditions are simply unacceptable for a water park that should prioritize basic comforts and the safety of its guests.

The wristband system, touted as a convenient way to manage payments, turned out to be a major hassle. The credits associated with the wristbands were only functional in a limited number of bars and restaurants within the water park, and a couple of outlets in the main Agua Mágica theme park. This restriction, combined with the inexperienced and untrained food and beverage staff, made even the simplest transactions a painful ordeal. It was astonishing to witness the staff's inability to make even minor decisions without seeking managerial approval, a level of inefficiency that speaks volumes about the management's shortcomings.

In spite of the park’s size, the value for money was unquestionably poor. Despite a handful of decent rides in the main park, my decision to pay extra for access to the water park turned out to be regrettable. The water park's lack of cleanliness was palpable, with an overwhelming smell of urine permeating the areas surrounding the water slides.

Moreover, the retail concepts within the park were uninspiring, contributing to the sense of disappointment. Isla Mágica water park felt dated and desperately in need of a management overhaul to bring it up to global standards. Perhaps a re-think of the colonial conquistador theme might be in order if they want to attract a global audience beyond just Spaniards and Portuguese.

In conclusion, the close to 100 Euros I spent for myself and my child, coupled with a 20 Euro dining credit, locker fees, and parking expenses, was a hefty price to pay for an utterly disappointing day out. Isla Mágica water park in Seville fell well short of expectations, marred by poor management, rude and overworked staff, inadequate protocols, and lackluster facilities. It's my sincere hope that the park's management team will take these criticisms to heart and make the necessary changes to revitalize this dated attraction. The 10-minute walk to the parking lot in the baking August sun was yet another reminder of how the park has been poorly designed without ease of access or customer wellbeing in mind. A missed opportunity to create a compelling family attraction for such a great city.

Had a really good day trip, would recommend buying the fast track pass for 1 or 2 euros per person per ride.

Very bad. Overbooked park with lots of schools. 2h in a queue. Lots kids skipping the line. No control of nothing. In the rollercoaster only one cabin functioning for thousands of people in queues. No coming back ever!
