About
The Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville is the principal reference of the Andalusian cultural heritage, which makes understand and feel the union between culture and flamenco art, it is considered therefore as the temple of the Andalusian flamenco culture. The fusions the tradition of flamenco art with high technology and becomes the main entrance portal for the emotional understanding of this expression of Andalusian identity. A simple must for the cultural tourist.

For context - mask requirements have been removed in Spain.

We attended this show and museum on Monday evening, May 9, our 5th night on our 10-day trip to Spain. The show was wonderful and the museum worthwhile. However, the space where the audience is seated is packed in tightly. Very few of the audience members were wearing masks. My husband and I were. I had on a KN95 and as he forget his, he was just wearing a cloth mask. Three days later my husband came down with COVID and is still awaiting clearance so he can fly home. A chance we took when we left the USA, but it has been a nightmare. While no one can pinpoint EXACTLY where they pick up a versus, we had not been in any large indoor crowds except at this venue. We had eaten all our meals outside. We had been extremely careful and actually considered leaving before the show started. Not trying to discourage anyone from attending - just wear a really good mask and maybe the venue might encourage it too - and sell fewer tickets and space people out a bit?. Ruined a really great vacation.

This was our first Flamenco Show so we have no other to compare it to, but MAN, was it amazing!! Great acoustics at the venue and the performers were brilliant.
The dancers were top notch, and the two singers and guitar player were exceptional! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Seville!!

Great experience of an authentic flamenco performance, book early to avoid disappointment as I would have liked to have gone to an earlier showing but it had sold out.

This was a cool experience. One of our guides in Seville told us there were thousands of flamenco shows in the city, but you have to be careful to go to an authentic one- he said the Museo show is one of the authentic ones, (and I have to take his word for it) but maybe that's why there were a lot of tourists in the audience (maybe we all got the same advice!). Either way, I'm glad I went.

Personally I wish I had done some research ahead of time to learn a bit more about the music and dance style - they don't really tell you anything about it; they just start the show.

I am so glad this was my first authentic live Flamenco experience. The musical mastery and emotional dancing were an astonishing and soul-stirring combination that left me feeling quite emotional. I am a musician who has heard many world-class artists over the years, and I'm not easily impressed, but this performance in a lovely venue at the heart of the tradition made a deep impression which I'm sure I'll remember for a long time to come.

Outstanding. The dancers, the singers, the musicians put their hearts into the show. So many emotions. We were by the entrance door and had a great view. Did not feel cramped.

By mistake we missed the show that we purchased the tickets for, but the admission stuff graciously allowed us to see it the day after. Thank you!

We read that many Flamenco shows in Seville were far too geared towards tourism and almost bordering on Burlesque so we decided to see an evening show at the museum.

It was great intimate venue (probably 100 people). The show lasted about an hour and it was one of the best things we have seen

The dancers were incredible and totally dedicated. It felt like we were witnessing something very special.

recommend 100%

Best flamenco show in Seville. Very professional dancers, many emotions in 1 hour. It was very impressive, clothes are very beautiful and expresions of dancers, all dance is amazing. I love last part of the show when they dance Buleria. I understand Flamenco is about emotions. Dancers can dance what they want to dance in every show. Every day is a different show. Best experience
Wonderful experience not to be missed. The passion and intensity of the dancers and interplay between them and the musicians is incredible.Congratulations
