For a more authentic and decidedly less well-scrubbed experience, it’s worth crossing the river to explore this scruffy but vibrant old quarter, historically the centre of azulejo, or glazed-tile production. There are plenty of tapas bars for sustenance to sustain your ceramic shopping, and it’s fun to seek out the surviving corrales. These tiny buildings with flower-smothered courtyards once housed extended the gypsy families from which emerged Spain’s greatest flamenco dynasties.

This part of the town reflects what real life in Sevilla must be. We first visited in the evening, with restaurants teaming with people, and all that ambiance you can expect form Sevilla. On Sunday Morning, though, it was completely different. Locals wer out ,...More

Went to the market to view fish/produce; the colors and wares were amazing.Of note are the many storefronts for ceramic tile: this is the reason to cross the river. Many opportunities to shop or arrange for classes to design your own. A worthwhile adventure if...More

I really liked this town across the river from Sevilla. We went to the ceramic museum, which was very interesting, then walked around and felt like we were part of the locals. Great to spend a couple of hours here if time permits.

Great place, fantastic photo opportunities, restaurants here are atmospheric - though one we ate at was not brill - I think you'll find better food in old town.

Triana is cosy, charmful district of seemen and manufacturers with interesting streets, patios. Visit the churches! People of Triana are proud of their district and emphasize it on every step. Check out their local patriotic products :)

It is a nice neighbourhood to walk around. The shopping on the southern side is very good, he best part. The food area on the northern side provides great relief around 8pm from the Sevilla sun. But there are better things to see on the...More

Across the river from the central part of the city, is Triana. Architectuarlly it's not as pretty as the other side and house the more modern architecture of Seville- noteably the Seville tower. However, if you take one of the bus tours it will cover...More

We were too tired to walk further into the area to see the advertised shops and other tapas bars. The river front was entertaining but not especially spectacular considering the many other magnificent sites in the city.

We walked there from the city centre across the river. Visit the old market for fine food. We came back and had a great lunch in the market at Creveceria Loli, highly recommended by us.

Hi Mark, As othera havew advised there is plenty of street parking around the hotel area so you can park up there. Only word of caution would be that the streets are a bit narrow and there might be the possibility of a bump... More
