I gather you can book a guided tour of the market, but frankly who needs somebody telling you that all the produce is fresh, local and looks fantastic? You can sit at the bar and request anything from the market to eat - they will shop and cook it for you. Had a beer at the tuna stand and watched... More

Our spanish friend recommended to visit the Mercado of Triana because we wanted to eat delicious authentic spanish food (Tapas, racion, platos). Fantastic location just at the end of the Triana bridge. A typical Spanish market where you can experience people buy vegetables, meat and fish. Between 12:00 and 14:00 people take a seat or stand at the tapas bars... More

Mercado de Triana is an interesting market with a wide range of fresh produce. There are also cheap eateries and bars. Good use of the excellent local ceramics for the stall signs which gives the market an attractive historical touch.

We had been searching for a nice piece of jam on Iberico and got this address. What a nice surprise reaching this market ! It has the right size to allow for some easy orientation. We found our Jamoneiria in no time and got a great 10 k leg for Christmas. Recommend Jamon Bellota Jabugo from Jamoneria Jose Luis Romero.... More

We went for lunch and stayed for drinks. The hustle and bustle was brilliant, we had oysters and deep fried fish and sherry. The atmosphere was brilliant and the food delicious.

We are a group of 4 friends who have been traveling from Portugal to Spain. We love to go around markets or mercado and we tend to look for one in whichever city we are in. We decided to visit Mercado de Triana and we noted that it is quite smelly. There are few restaurants in the Mercado but due... More

I always enjoy walking around food markets and this one is right up there with the best. Clean, well laid out and a pleasure to walk around looking at or buying all the fresh produce from vegetables to meat and all types of seafood.

We walked over the bridge to this market on our first day . We are at one of the little bars in the market . We had paella , stuffed mushroom and octopus and it was all delicious . We then went around the market and bought some squid to cook in our apartment
