I always enjoy walking around food markets and this one is right up there with the best. Clean, well laid out and a pleasure to walk around looking at or buying all the fresh produce from vegetables to meat and all types of seafood.

We walked over the bridge to this market on our first day . We are at one of the little bars in the market . We had paella , stuffed mushroom and octopus and it was all delicious . We then went around the market and bought some squid to cook in our apartment

Local market where you can find olives, iberic ham, olive oil, tapas and lots of local products. Cheaper than the Barranco Market. Just across the river.

I think this is a great place if you are already done with the rest Triana. And in my experience you cannot be done with Triana in a hurry. I prefer the Mercado Barranco on the other end of the bridge.

We had breakfast here on two mornings. Great value for traditional food bought fresh from the market.

Little market, not the biggest in Spain ! I was looking forward to buy Seville olives over there but could find only one stall! Theres more restaurants and tapas bars than stalls. But diffinitely worth going to the flamenco session which we accidentally found . It lasts 1hr and the artists are professionals and it's cheaper than the other flamenco... More

Colorful, lively old style city market in historic property used during the Spanish Inquisition. Slaughter house. Great for photography and wandering. Highly recommend

A scaled down version of La Boqueria in Barcelona. Fresh food market with freshly cooked tapas. We had Almehas and Gambon, so simple but tasted fabulous, washed down with a glass of chilled Fino, who could ask for more?

In Seville for a week in August. Dedicated foodie. Reckon you can get a feel for the local people by taking a gander at where they buy food. Great selection of really fresh meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. Got me salivating and wanting to cook. Recommended for foodies...
