Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came across this interesting structure while walking towards Plaza de Espana and the Parque de Maria Luisa. Costurero de la Reina is sure different from other buildings and looks quite stocky. It is a hexagonal tower with little turrets at each corner. It's a 19th century building and now houses a tourist Information office as well as conferences and meetings. Worth a fleeting look.

A charming jewel of a little edifice was apparently built as a guard house for gardens that later became a public vast Park.

Seems to be only a legend that the future queen spent time here sewing with her ladies-in-waiting as she died years before it was constructed.

Nonetheless irrespective of role, it is exquisite.

We had not planned to go here but we stumbled upon it as we drove past. A guard house in a previous life although well kept and worth a visit.

The Costurero de la Reina is located at the roundabout of Paseo de las Delicias and the Puente de los Remedios.

Standing as a sentinel, and originally a guard house, it appropriately stands guard.

right outside the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of María Luisa Park and the famous Plaza de España.

This late nineteenth century building is quite an unusual and unique piece of architecture, which has now houses the local tourist information office on the ground floor.

It is easy to miss this quirky two tone building because next to it is a large column with a fountain that has your attention.

Legend has it that the Spanish queen used one of the rooms to sew but is not true. This was built in 1878 in an Arabic style. The queen who apparently did the sewing had died by then.

It is now a tourist information office.

This unique building was the sewing 'hideout' for a reclusive Spanish queen; now it houses a helpful, informative 'info. center' to help tourists visiting lovely Sevilla. Close to Maria Luisa Park.

The is the most fabulous and colourful building set on the corner of the main road in or out of the city.
It is called the Queens Sewing Box, but originally was a garden lodge.
Today it is a tourist office

If you are coming from the river to the Maria Luisa park, you will pass by the Costurero de la Reina - a very small building that is cute to see, but nothing more.
