Don't look as this as a destination until itself. Consider it a stopping point in a journey. The church itself is interesting, but do yourself a favor and get here by some winding side streets and explore around the area. Except for the motorized vehicles...More

This was on our walking tour of Aviles which covered many other old and interesting buildings. I would have liked to spend longer in this delightful quarter.

I always come in when visiting Aviles. I remember it as being called "La iglesia de los padres" and it is one of the oldest buildings in town. The square is a charming space and walking along the calle de la Ferreria one cannot avoid...More

Lovely medieval church located within a plaza. Returned to see it again since my parents were married there 62 years ago. They have renovated the historic area to its original beauty.
