One of two very big beaches just minutes from each other. I prefer the other one. Playa it's less crowded far better sandy beach and has lots good restaurants nearby. Lovely marinas in between both.

It’s a pretty beach but it could do with more atmosphere like beach cafes and facilities. It’s all sandy. Rocky near where the river joins. Saw lots of sticking plasters and suchlike so improved beach cleaning would be nice.

For a restful day in Gijon visit this playa. From San Pedro Church to a comfortable walk along the playa with plenty of seating for a comfortable rest. Along the playa their are plenty of cafes and restaurant and stores for the vacation shopper.

The beach is sandy and very clean, there are many showers to rinse off. The boardwalk is very wide and very clean. I learned to surf here and i would return for sure.

No service at all! A few showers, no toilets, no sunbeds, no shade, no nothing. But crowded! Clean and lots of surfers.

Loved this beach. Huge crashing waves, soft sand and great water color. Got to see a baby turtle. Hiked down to the rocks and saw the waves crash thru 2 caves. Took the hike up to the lighthouse and had spectacular views. Hardly no one...More
