Walking around the Old Town is like walking into a museum. Statues abound. My favorites are the "La Lechera," "El vendedor del pescar," Vendedoras las Fontan," Botero's "La Maternidad," the girl with the book located in front of Teatro Campoamor. There's so much to see.
There are over ? 100 museum like sculptures in an open space forum over the city to include the one of Woody Allen, Mafalda each one very interesting in their on right. Some modern, some realistic, all very impressive. 👌☝️👍👏🤔😘
If you wander the many streets of Oviedo, you'll come upon the many statues. There's info to help you find them but it's fun to happen upon them. I went right to Woody Allen's and there was a line! Great statues. Great town.
What a great idea! The center of the city is full of very nice sculptures that are part of the local culture already. Each one has a sense of belonging. You may even have fun taking a picture of yourself with one of them.
