We went to the aquarium on a gray day. The visit starts with the maritime museum and history of boats, which is interesting. The aquarium however is ok, not the nicest we have seen. It has an underwater tunnel with some sharks and nice jellyfish...More

There are aquaria that are so modern and so efficient you get the idea the main goal is extracting your money and not offering you a pleasant visit. Not this aquarium. It's been here for a long time, it's not very modern but a lot...More

I have to point out that we visited a lot of aquariums over the years. So, we are a bit spoiled. The aquariums and special fish they have aren't that impressive. But they do a great job with the limited things they have. Especially the...More

Interesting place if someone likes history. Interesting place if someone likes history. Specimens of sea creatures quite cool, but it's rather a mini aquapark

We went to the aquarium to pass the afternoon, I was expecting too much as once you've seen one aquarium you've seen them all. I was wrong, this is a gem in San Sebastian. The first section is a amazing exhibition of the maritime history...More

The suggested route through the museum took us through some rather dull exhibits of local naval history before the (admittedly impressive) fish revealed themselves. Probably not worth a special visit but ideal for a rainy day.

This is a very nice but small aquarium with two floors of ships and history and 2 floors of fish and other sea life. It’s well laid out and the price is reasonable.

With a principal theme around the whales this aquarium is surprisingly big with a lot of this to see and learn. Lots of live fishes also. Go there !

Worth visiting on a rainy day in Donostia! They have a museum and beautiful aquarium. A lot of different kinds of fish.

I honestly am not sure. We did not see anyone at the aquarium with a pet but there may be an allowance if your dog is a service animal.
