Our All-INCLUSIVE Food & Wine (PINTXO/TAPAS) Tour, or our famous City Sightseeing/Cultural Tour given only in English by an ENGLISH SPEAKING EXPAT, who has lived here for many years and who has married into the Basque Culture. Please click on the link and visit our webpage so that you can see why ours are the best and most economical Tours in Donostia-San Sebastian and to make your reservation. As a visitor here for many years before my move, I know what information is useful, be it PINTXOS/Tapas, The City sights, how to Pintxo, Restaurants or outlying attractions. To do Pintxos right, you really need someone on the inside, someone that knows where to go on the particular day you are here and can help you get the most out of what is available. I will help you explore flavors, but nothing over the top, I am very traditional in my selection of local Pintxos and pair them with local wines. I do show you the most modern bars as well. My tours are designed to give my guests a great head start on this area, from the History and Traditions, to the PROPER way to eat PINTXOS (Tapas). I show you this city with an open point of view and make you feel like a visiting family member or friend, so that after the tour is over you feel more comfortable getting around the city and looking deeper into the areas that you are most interested in. I normally keep my groups small, so it almost feels like a private tour. If you would like a private tour please, contact us for pricing and availability. My tour is best done on the first morning that you are here.

This tour as a perfect introduction to San Sebastián. Keith is an American ex-pat (I don't want to spoil his fantastic "origin story") and he has the charisma of a leading actor in Hollywood. Keith will keep you entertained, informed, and will provide practical basque phrases and customs that will make you feel like an insider. I would recommend to... More

Had a fantastic afternoon learning the history of the Basque region and tasting fabulous Pintxos and local wine and cider. Keith's knowledge was excellent but didn't overload us. Must do if your visiting San Sebastián. Thanks Keith.

My husband and I enjoyed a great afternoon with Keith showing us around authentic pintxo bars. Wished we had done this tour on our first day in San Sebastián. Explained what to do in an authentic pinxto bar. Food and wine was amazing. Keith is very knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great afternoon!!

The historical background of the region that Keith shared with us enriched the experience in the city. His food knowledge was also helpful. Well worth the time and different that the usual boring city tours of run down churches and markets. Plus it good good to hear a good old Alabama accent.

This tour is an ideal way to learn about the Basque region and its culture. Our excellent guide, Keith, gave us great insight into how the city's foods and traditions have evolved. We visited several local markets to view the produce and fish. We had five different pintxos with appropriately paired wines/cider. If there's any food you can't have or... More

Wonderful day spent with Keith on the history tour in the morning, and the pintxos tour in the afternoon! From the history of the town, to recommending things to do while we were there, to the excellent food and wine (pintxos paired with local drinks at every stop!) it truly was a superb tour. Keith is so knowledgeable, friendly, and... More

We were two couples on a short trip to San Sebastián. We had booked the walking tour in advance and had forgotten the date. The guide rang us to find out where we were, and we were running late. In the end he agreed to us coming the following day, which was very generous of him. The next day we... More

Brilliant day spent with Keith learning about Basque history, culture and food. We walked around town visiting the sights and his stories made the place come alive. After the walk we visited 5 bars each specialising in a different pintxos which he paired with local wine. The tour is intimate and personal and can be tailored to your dietary needs.... More
